Download & Open
Install the app from the App Store or Google Play. Open it and you'll be greeted with a brief welcome screen explaining what the app does.
Allow Location Access
The app needs your location to calculate accurate prayer times and Qibla direction. This data never leaves your device — it's used only for local calculations.
Set Your Notifications
Choose which prayers you want reminders for and how far in advance (5, 10, 15, or 30 minutes). Enable notifications for announcements and upcoming duroos.
You're Connected
That's it. Prayer times update automatically. Announcements arrive when the masjid posts them. Events appear in your calendar. Never miss a prayer, never miss a lesson.
Common Questions
Do I need an account to use the app?
No. Prayer times, Qibla compass, and browsing announcements all work without an account. You only need to sign up if you want to subscribe to a masjid for push notifications.
Does the app work offline?
Yes. Prayer times calculate locally from your coordinates when you're offline. Previously loaded announcements and events are cached on your device. The Qibla compass works entirely offline.
Which calculation method is used?
The app uses the Umm Al-Qura method, which is the standard used by Masjid al-Haram in Makkah. Prayer times are fetched from the Aladhan API when online, with adhan-js as an offline fallback.
Is my location data shared?
No. Your location is used only on your device to calculate prayer times and Qibla direction. It is never sent to our servers or any third party.
Will there ever be ads or paid features?
No. This app is a sadaqah jaariyah — an ongoing charity. It will always be free, with no ads, no in-app purchases, and no premium tiers.
Can other mosques use this app?
